How to use the Electrostatic Dusting Cloths
Electrostatic Dusting Cloths are great to help me win the fight against dust. I have been using them since they appear on the market. However, it could get expensive after a while to buy new refill.
This is how I use the Electrostatic Dusting Cloths. I am sure that I am not the only one to use this technique, but maybe you never thought of it so here it is. You will need two things to get the job done, a vacuum cleaner and your duster. Why a vacuum cleaner? To clean your dusting cloth. That is the trick my friend. When you're dusting cloth gets full of dust you use the vacuum to clean it, that way your dusting cloth will last for a long time. And you will at the same time save some electricity. I even have the impression that it gets better after a couple of use.
If you are not already using electrostatic dusting cloths to do the floor part of your housekeeping I recommend strongly that you look into it. In my opinion, it is much more efficient than a broom. With a broom you are throwing a lot of dust in the air trying to move it around in one spot to pick it up. the electrostatic dusting cloth attract dust like a magnets instead of just displacing it, in that way you end up with a nearly perfect dust free floor.
Since you already have the vacuum cleaner out, you can use it to clean the furniture in the room. I found it is the best way to do it; I have tried to use the electrostatic cloth and found it was less practical, I just use the vacuum with a brush.
